The Fonzarelli NKD Australia’s First Electric Motorbike
The Sydney-based company FonzarelliFonzarelli has produced the first Australian-made production electric motorcycle, the fun, dual-sport Grom-sized NKD capable of up to 120km range and 100km/h top speed.

The Fonzarelli NKDNKD is the stripped back dual-sport mini-moto with a serious fun-factor.Agile handling and a lightweight, compact build, allows the rider to control the electrifying torque curve of the bike, making it perfect for cutting through the urban jungle.
The NKD features a range of up to 120km on a single charge (or about 74 miles). It also offers a top speed of 100kmh (or about 62mph).The new Fonzarelli NKD is powered by an efficient mid-drive brushless motor delivering a feisty 9.6-kilowatt powered by a 3.5 kWh Panasonic Lithium-Ion battery.

The Panasonic Lithium-Ion 3.5kWh inbuilt battery can be charged via the onboard AC mains charger from flat to 100% in about five hours.The small wheels and unique design of the Fonzarelli NKD are also… interesting. The new, beautifully designed electric motorcycle is versatile enough that you could take it off-road into sand dunes and hills – and compact enough to put in the back of of your car.
