Mosquito Helicopter XET Start Up And Cockpit Flow
In this video we get a brief run-through on how to operate the Mosquito helicopter. We do a cockpit flow, run up and startup of the turbine engine. In the aircraft, You have your control stick, also known as the cyclic which is used to control the forward, backward and left to right movements of the aircraft.

Also you have your collective handle bar which is used to gain lift all descend. The collective bar is also attached to the throttle.In the panel, this helicopter is equipped with an MGL electronic flight information system. Here you can read and get all the data for your engine. You have a master switch on the lower right hand of the pilot.
The Mosquito XET uses custom gear boxes to handle the 71kw (95HP) Solar turbine. The full turbine engine package is supplied in the kit, ready to bolt on.Main rotor blades consist of an aluminum spar bonded to a wrapped aluminum sheet skin.

The control system is unique to the Mosquito. Main rotor control is achieved from the floor mounted joystick and collective through a control mixer in the base of the main mast, then through push tubes in the mast up to the base of the swash plate. The swash plate is contained within the mast and is supported by a push tube located in the rotor shaft.
