Ford Unveils F-Vision Electric & Autonomous Semi Truck Concept
Turkish Ford unveils at a concept semi-trailer truck, the “F-Vision – Future Truck”.Ford’s F-Vision Future Truck Concept is a self-driving electric tractor built to show what Ford is thinking about the future of commercial trucking – a Level-4 autonomous future truck.

Besides it being electric, it’s chock full of all kinds of technologies, from level 4 autonomous driving and platoon function with other trucks, through cameras instead of rearview mirrors.
There’s Internet connectivity,fancy features like automatically tinting windows in the colors of the body. The concept also has massive wheels and a distinctive lower section which features air intakes that are surrounded by slender LED lights.

The goal is for the electric truck to drive itself most of the time.In self-driving mode, the windshield will blend into the body to make the semi’s shape even more aerodynamic. Ford didn’t release any details about power output, top speed or other technical specifications of their first-ever concept truck.
