A 1/3 scale fuel injected 125cc V10 Hybrid Electric RC Buggy

via

Done a bit of running in the garden, on one electric motor, and finally got the V10 running a bit. ENGINE STARTS AROUND 5.20. A bit smokey. A bit slow at the moment, no brakes, no steering, but at least I can see what it looks like on the ground. The floorpan was a bit loose so it was rattling. Yes I know I need to improve my videoing.

It’s on the list to do. Yes the headers are smoking, just burning off last year’s oil. I know it’s nowhere near ready yet, I just wanted to see what it looked like on the ground. Please don’t be too harsh, I have a house and family and a job too. I’m going as fast as I can, cheers.ENGINE STARTS AT 5.20.

Keith’s build log is a long series of forum posts, but from what we’ve seen it looks like every part was made by hand with the exception of the fuel injection system. Even the caps for the spark plugs were custom injection molded right in Keith’s shop.

Just having a catch up of where I am at the moment. Progress slows during summer normally. I’ve installed some Trampa skateboard motors and a couple of genuine Vesc6’s, which seem good.
