Toyota has developed a hydrogen combustion engine with nearly negligible harmful emissions. The project involved a Toyota Corolla Sport which participated in a 24 hour endurance race, using a 1.6L turbo inline three-cylinder out of the GR Yaris. source/image: Engineering Explained The idea was to convert a gasoline engine to a hydrogen engine, as an alternative to creating new electric cars.
