Tim Linhart was sculpting ice in Colorado when he decided to try something new: creating a giant, frozen violin. When a friend jokingly asked how Tim thought his violin would sound, it sparked an idea.

Ice Music is a celebration of the winter spirit of Swedish Lapland – a new art form where the musicians play on instruments made of ice – ICEstruments.Ice Music is made up of violins, cellos, guitars, a marimba, and a wide variety of percussion.
